Central Florida Golf Communities, Why?
What makes Central Florida such a popular destination for buyers with a passion for play? Aside from its major attractions and strong employment base, the weather really makes Central Florida the ideal place for golf lovers to settle down. Florida isn't called the Sunshine State for nothing!
The region enjoys a tropical climate that brings average summer temperatures of about 90 degrees Fahrenheit and average winter temperatures of 70 degrees. While summer temperatures can climb higher and rains are common during this period, winters tend to be extremely mild. Freezing temperatures are practically unheard of and hard freezes almost never occur. Even in the rainy season, downpours are often limited to the afternoons and don't last long. This means golfers can enjoy the game almost every day of the year, which makes Central Florida homes especially attractive for golfers.
